Yes that’s excatly what it is. There are either 7 or 8 tanks on fire at the moment and its getting worse. Technically I.T.C is a storage facility and they hold a number of different chemicals. Its to my understanding that they are fighting the fire with a foam solution. They cant put it out, they have to let it burn itself out. Hopefully the wind stayes the same untill it burnes itself out. The Butadiene tanks are upwind from the fire. If those catch fire im sure it will blow houston off the map.

Another picture. Its an overview of the plant itself. (Right side) Notice how many storage tanks and how close together they are. I will be passing the plant in a few hours, I will try to get a few good pictures from the ship channel side of things. http://imgur.com/gallery/N2fmc21

Aww okay. Yeah man I been runnin from victoria to port arthur and havnt been up in houston for a long time. When i was up here i was a hand,. I never really paid attention to what dock is what. I dont know if you noticed in the pictures how close that fire is to the LNG spheres. Im sure you heard about the rail car in the 50’s that was holding LNG. It was a huge boom. That was a rail car. I couldnt imagine what it would be like if a whole fuckin containment tank blew up.

Lol, I’ve been saying for a long time that it wouldn’t break my heart if it burned to the ground. I would still rather run a boat than drive a car in houston.
