The [Three Sisters bridges]( in Pittsburgh form the only set of three identical, adjacent suspension bridges over a major navigable waterway (the Allegheny River). Originally named simply the 6th, 7th, and 9th street bridges, they now take the names of Roberto Clemente, Andy Warhol, and Rachel Carson. Currently, the three are undergoing major restoration. The 7th has been closed and under repair for a year and, as they finish it, they’re moving on to the 6th. These two boats can be seen puttering about, moving small barges with high lifts into position underneath.
