Any Navy vets to unlicensed MSC here? Looking to see how my sea time would translate and what job I could get in case I don’t get accepted to Maritime school.

I know the president signed the EO to make transitioning easier for Navy and CG vets but I can’t find any program, instruction, POC for anything. Only information I got was a program manager in DC gave me info on how to get the Navy to pay for my TWIC but that’s about it.

Are you planning to try and attend a maritime academy this fall? If you are and haven’t applied yet get on it ASAP! I saw your other post about your past college attempt. I did the same thing got to school and partied too hard and went to class to little. My grades were terrible 2 semesters worth of total bombs or low grades earning me a super low gpa. That said I went did the Navy thing and decades later here I am went to CC for two semesters and got accepted at an academy.

As far as MSC I would search over at gcaptain as well. If you want a maritime school trust me you can make it happen.
